Taking singing to the next level, it was a special thrill for my wife to sing a duet with Sia Yeun on this year's SSF stage. In 2007, Ms Tay Sia Yeun, who was Teacher Erick's prodigy, captured first place in the SSF WOW Singing Awards. This year, she had her own Sunday half-hour SSF show at Orchard Cineleisure to entertain a public audience.
Erick's students each had their chance to take to a public SSF stage at various venues in the month of June. And this year, not 1, but 2 of his young talents, Jean & Elliot were amongst the top 7 finalists for the WOW Awards, testament to Teacher's nurturing style.Next month will be even more exciting at Erick's 2nd Students' Concert, entitled "Voices Of Love" when they get to dress up & sing their hearts out.
